Sola Air is the new airline putting Värmland on the map with direct connections from Karlstad to both Stockholm Arlanda and Copenhagen Kastrup. With the launch in spring 2025, we offer smooth and time-saving travel for both business and leisure travelers. About the role

As a captain at Sola Air, you are a key person, having the ultimate responsibility on board the aircraft. You ensure that the team is well, works efficiently, and follows regulations. Not least, you also ensure that passengers have a pleasant journey to their destination.

We are looking for someone who:

• Prioritizes safety, punctuality, and first-class care in all situations.
• Is a confident communicator and natural leader with a solution-oriented attitude.
• Has a strong sense of service, is empathetic, and enjoys working with people.
• Is stress-resistant and flexible with the ability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Loves working in a team with a common goal and has a passion for delivering high quality.
• Is ready to have Karlstad as your base of work.

Qualifications:

• EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a minimum of 2,500 hours total flight time and at least 500 hours as captain on a similar aircraft type.
• A valid SAAB 340 rating is advantageous.
• EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate and ICAO English level 4 or higher.
• Right to work within the EU/EEA.
• Fluent in English, Värmland dialect, and preferably another Scandinavian language.
